The FourQuarters Recruitment team is seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to join our client, a federal government body based in Sydney, for a 6-month contract. As a key member of the Chief Data Office, you will be responsible for ensuring data quality standards and reporting obligations are met.

This role requires strong collaboration with internal and external parties to manage and optimize processes around data collection and management, including sensitive data. You will work closely with stakeholders and SMEs to determine data collection standards and processes, considering how changes impact data flow and distribution within the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to meet internal and external obligations
  • Determining data collection standards and processes in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs
  • Contributing to data quality improvements and developing processes to mitigate issues related to data collection
  • Providing advice on end-to-end operational processes involving data collection and reporting

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven expertise in developing and optimizing data collection and management processes
  • Strong ability to work with internal and external stakeholders and ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex operational processes

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a financial services environment and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A Baseline Clearance or Australian Citizenship is required for this role.
