About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Credit Operations function. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners, overseeing cost centre management, and ensuring seamless alignment with our strategic objectives.

  • Manage the credit team's performance to achieve collection KPIs, while maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of plans to enhance staff engagement, prioritize customer care, and maintain prudent control over operational expenses.
  • Ensure reconciliation of intermediary accounts aligns with service levels within our governance guidelines.
  • ID opportunities for business improvement and refine the Credit Operations structure to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and extensive experience in insurance, underwriting, or credit operations within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Leadership experience in operational credit roles, guiding and inspiring teams in dynamic environments.
  • A passion for empowering individuals and teams to reach their potential, nurturing talent development and building pipelines for growth.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a collaborative approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple priorities.
