Job Overview:

The Investment Division is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Aps6 Policy Officer.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced team member who will undertake high-quality and timely briefings, engage with stakeholders on strategic policy issues while driving reforms to streamline procurement and address market capacity constraints for major infrastructure projects from the national pipeline.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, participating in committees, and using networks across the APS to develop policy and provide advice to senior management.
  • Developing complex policy that requires detailed analysis of diverse data and views where there are a range of viable options.
  • Developing and implementing complex policy documents for review and publication.
  • Preparing and reviewing draft policy reports, briefing papers, ministerial submissions, speeches, and discussion papers.
  • Conducting research and analysis on emerging and innovative procurement and infrastructure financing processes to identify local and international best practices.
  • Performing secretariat duties for ministerial engagements with stakeholders.
