**Government Agency Seeks Experienced Policy Advisor

The Department of Infrastructure and Transport is seeking a highly skilled policy advisor to join their team.

Working in the Reducing Surface Transport Emissions Branch, you will be at the forefront of the Government's efforts to support sustainable transport systems that contribute to our productivity and the Government's CO2 emissions targets.

The division works across all surface transport types, providing pre-eminent advice to the Government on emissions reduction frameworks to underpin road, rail, and maritime in Australia.

Key responsibilities include liaising with internal and external stakeholders, developing complex policy, and preparing and reviewing draft policy reports, briefing papers, and ministerial submissions.

You will also conduct research and analysis on emerging and innovative procurement and infrastructure financing processes to identify local and international best practices.

Additionally, you will perform secretariat duties for ministerial engagements with stakeholders.
