About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and passionate Referrer Relationship Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Queensland Business Relationship Manager, this would be an ideal opportunity for any administrative staff looking to grow their career, learn new skills, and utilize the knowledge you already possess of our service offerings, internal processes, billing, and Medicare guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Consult with key stakeholders to enhance awareness of our imaging services across various regions.
  2. Grow our referral base and engage with local healthcare providers, including GP Doctors and Allied Health Professionals.
  3. Develop and nurture relationships through educational events, supporting and attending local marketing activities.
  4. Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies in your territory.
  5. Maintain, manage, and analyze the database of referrers.
  6. Work collaboratively with the Central Queensland and Mackay marketing team, and work with localised technical and administrative leaders.

About You

  1. Proven networking aptitude for business growth and delivery of services.
  2. Flexibility to work varied hours to attend out-of-hours clinical information evenings and network opportunities.
  3. Engaging professional style to build rapport with referring Doctors, Practice Managers, and Reception Staff, with the ability to deliver exceptional service.
  4. Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and be self-motivated.
  5. Excellent organisational skills to plan, promote, and execute promotional lunches, information evenings, and any other events as required.
  6. Be technically minded, ensuring referrers are well supported. An understanding of medical terminology is preferred but not essential. CRM experience maintaining a referrer database and experience with RIS/PACS or Radiology reporting programs is an advantage.
  7. Current Driver's Licence.
  8. Medical sales, networking, or business development experience is desired.
  9. Flexibility to travel to Mackay every six weeks.
