About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Advisor to join our team at UGL. As a key member of our Projects (Survey & Quote) Team, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Portfolio Manager with all procurement requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop procurement plans for project works
  • Manage tender processes, including engaging and negotiating with Australian and international subcontractors and suppliers
  • Lead and manage the entire procurement lifecycle for all S&Q/project works on the Defence Fuels Network
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including operational teams, legal and commercial, external suppliers, and provide governance, advice, and guidance regarding UGL's procurement policy requirements and industry best practices
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or qualifications in law, business, engineering, supply chain, procurement, or project management
  • CIPS or equivalent will be highly regarded
  • Proven experience working with complex subcontracting and procurement environments
  • Strong understanding and working experience of subcontracting commercial instruments, their terms, and negotiation
  • Self-motivated and driven individual with exceptional communication skills, proven experience across various levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Currently holds, or ability to obtain, relevant Security Clearance
