Job Overview:

Melbourne-based property consultancy is a national, independent Australian-owned firm offering diverse services including quantity surveying, building consultancy, tax and asset services, PPP advisory, infrastructure, facilities management advisory, and expert witness services.

We seek dynamic and experienced professionals to join our team at the Melbourne office. These roles are pivotal in supporting our team with the delivery of comprehensive property consultancy services, contributing to our continued growth and success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Optimization: Develop and implement business processes, organisational structures, and the delivery of asset management and FM services in both public and private sectors.
  • International Standards Implementation: Work with recognised international standards such as ISO55000 or ISO41000.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring the delivery of project outcomes within time and budget constraints.
  • Procurement Process Management: Manage the asset management and FM services procurement process, including development of specifications, KPIs, payment mechanisms, evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • System Integration: Work with FM or asset management systems to deliver project outcomes.
  • Communication and Analysis: Maintain strong written and verbal communication capabilities and analytical skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Project).

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background: A tertiary qualification in Business, Building, Asset Management, or Facilities Management.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years commercial experience across asset management and FM services procurement processes.
  • Industry Accreditation: Accreditation with an industry body such as FMA, IFMA, IAM, IPWEA, RICS, or AIQS.
  • Technical Capabilities: Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, and Project).
  • Communication Abilities: High-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical abilities.
  • Autonomy and Collaboration: Ability to work autonomously or within a team to deliver project outcomes.
  • Teamwork: Strong organisational skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to manage deadlines and work across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactivity: A self-motivated and solutions-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
