Strategic Asset Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced asset management professional to join our business as Strategic Asset Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity in an evolving space where you will be responsible for managing the delivery of asset management services, ensuring the safe, sustainable and efficient performance of network lines and stations assets.

You will create and implement asset life cycle plans and maintenance procedures, undertake critical work in this space and be responsible for prioritising tasks to ensure effective financial management associated with all asset life cycle plans.

You will strive to source and implement innovative solutions and continuously adopt best practice asset management skills. This role has a significant focus on strategic asset management and is also accountable for stakeholder goals and targets.

To succeed in this role, you will be a team player with skills in establishing and driving business relationships, communication, and stakeholder management. You will have a Bachelor qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, solid working experience in the area of Asset Management and exposure and working experience in the area of electricity transmission with lines and stations assets.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop strategic recommendations. They will also have strong project management skills, with experience in delivering multiple projects simultaneously.

In addition to their technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. They will also have a strong understanding of industry trends and developments, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
