Product Coordinator Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a Product Coordinator to play a vital role in the development of our product lines. As a key stakeholder, you will work closely with the Creative Director to bring designs from concept to final sample.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the workload of the production team, ensuring critical path deadlines are met and supporting the marketing and operations functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of products and coordinate with the production team to meet critical path deadlines
  • Assist the Creative Director in conducting seasonal trend research
  • Sourcing fabrics that meet the briefs of the Creative Director and ensure margin requirements are met
  • Design cohesive product ranges that align with the brand vision and meet margin strategies
  • Create accurate technical sketches and design briefs for patternmakers
  • Organize and manage fabric inventory, documentation, and ordering of bulk fabric
  • Lead offshore product development from initial technical packs through to costing, fit comments, and QA

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in fashion design within women's wear
  • 5-10 years of industry experience
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Ability to create accurate technical sketches
  • Excellent fabric knowledge and sourcing experience
  • Garment construction knowledge and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
