Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and driven Acquisition Manager to spearhead our land acquisition initiatives. As an Acquisitions Manager, your responsibilities will encompass developing and implementing site acquisition strategies aligned with company goals, leading negotiations, feasibility studies, and due diligence for all acquisitions, and cultivating strong relationships with agents, landowners, and consultants.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will need proven experience in land acquisition or property development, strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. You will also need to possess a strategic thinker with commercial acumen and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement site acquisition strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Lead negotiations, feasibility studies, and due diligence for all acquisitions
  • Source and secure 'off market' opportunities through targeted outreach and mapping
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agents, landowners, and consultants
  • Conduct strategic assessments of catchments to identify target acquisition areas
  • Prepare and manage financial models and feasibility studies for internal approvals
  • Coordinate internal approval processes including submissions to executive committees
  • Manage project budgets and consultant engagements during acquisition phases
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in emerging markets or sectors
  • Prepare business plans, strategy papers, and board submissions for new initiatives
