Senior Portfolio Manager Job

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Senior Portfolio Manager. As a key member of our portfolio management team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients, executing a range of different products, including FX hedging, lending, payments and cash management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, executing a range of different products, including FX hedging, lending, payments and cash management.
  • Collaborate with a large, successful sales team to assist in business origination. Understand clients' business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation using our large product suite.
  • Know and understand the competition's capabilities and gaps to better position our Banking solutions.
  • Deliver on dealer-specific KPIs, including repeat and new business revenues, reducing client churn, upselling cross-selling multiple relevant products and increasing wallet-share.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through client meetings, confidently and professionally presenting ideas, proposals, and updates to clients.
Requirements:
  • Strong Financial Services experience in a sales or relationship management role. An established network of contacts is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of working in an established FX institution and/or commercial bank, or selling other financial instruments to SMEs and corporate clients
  • Solid understanding of relevant compliance requirements.
  • Academic background in Business or Finance is a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to win commitment and buy-in.
  • Sophisticated technical ability; statistical/fundamental analysis & risk management practices
  • Proven record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (upselling, cross-selling, new client acquisition)
  • Skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels.
