Job Description:

As a Coordinator of Outside School Hours Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality care and education for children. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, including developing and implementing engaging activities that promote learning and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff, supervising children, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. You will work closely with colleagues, families, school leaders, and the community to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing daily programs that cater to diverse needs
  • Supervising and supporting staff members
  • Preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks
  • Creating a stimulating and engaging environment for children
  • Building strong relationships with families and the community

In order to excel in this role, you will require relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate 4 or Diploma in Children's Services, and current Working with Children's Checks and first aid training. A Bachelor's degree may also be advantageous.

This is a casual position working Monday to Friday, with a focus on child safety and mandatory reporting.
