Lead Program Development for Children's Content

This leadership role focuses on developing, commissioning, and producing high-quality programming for ABC's children and family slate. As a seasoned content leader, you will shape and deliver an audience-first strategy that fosters creativity, innovation, and quality storytelling.

Cultivating strong partnerships with independent producers is crucial to your success. You will manage resources effectively to deliver distinctive programming on time and within scope.

About This Opportunity

We seek a skilled content leader who has a deep understanding of children's and family programming across various genres and formats. A proven track record in commissioning, developing, and producing original content is essential.

Your strengths lie in creatively working with ideas, concepts, and scripts, driving projects from inception to screen with editorial confidence and creative vision. Strong communication and negotiation skills are also required.

As an empowering leader and trusted collaborator, you will excel in stakeholder engagement and have a strong industry network to guide and shape ABC's children and family slate for today's audiences and those of tomorrow.
