About the Role:

As an Expert Resource Strategist at NTT DATA Business Solutions, you will be responsible for managing the allocation and utilization of our team of consultants. This role requires a creative and agile approach to resource management, ensuring the right people with the right skills are allocated to all projects, directly contributing to their success and the organization's overall growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the resourcing function, allocating internal and external resources between client projects and internal tasks/projects efficiently.
  • Develop and manage resource forecasting and resourcing accuracy based on inputs from Sales, Support, and Delivery teams.
  • End-to-end engagement of Contractors, including monitoring their performance and providing feedback for improvement.
  • Engage onshore and offshore resources with sister or partner organizations, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor resourcing aspects of projects to ensure they remain adequately resourced, identifying gaps or clashes and proposing solutions.
  • Track utilization levels and trends, providing real-time accurate reporting on roster coverage, demand, and gap analysis, and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Resolve booking conflicts and negotiate acceptable outcomes with involved parties.
  • Alert relevant managers to potential concerns or issues with meeting project requirements.
  • Maintain a skills matrix by consultants for up-to-date skill classifications, driving professional development and career growth.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Resourcing Manager or equivalent role in IT consultancy/professional services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex scenarios in simple and effective solution options.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills, with experience working with various stakeholders at different levels.
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and switch between projects while maintaining high productivity.
  • Knowledge of ERP/SAP/Analytics is highly desirable, but not essential.
