About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Resource Planning Strategist to join our team at ASIC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert resource planning services across our DD&T function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective resource planning strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.
  • Liaise with Resource Managers to ensure resources are deployed effectively to projects.
  • Capture resourcing requirements into the Resource Planning Tool in collaboration with Project Managers.
  • Host the DD&T Group Resource Demand Meetings to align resource needs with business objectives.
  • Work with DD&T Project teams to optimize resource allocation and improve capacity and productivity.
  • Manage the Resource Planning tool, including reviewing functionality and implementing enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Head of DD&T Portfolio Office, Program & Project Managers to understand and validate resource demands for all programs and projects.
  • Forecast quarterly and annual resourcing requirements for new project pipelines in collaboration with project teams.
About You

We are looking for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in resource planning and management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Business Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in project resource planning, forecasting, and allocation in a complex corporate or government environment.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills, including the ability to coach and build high-functioning teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical matters to users.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $140,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.
