About the Role:

The Resourcing Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the allocation and utilization of consultants across various projects. With a creative and agile approach, this individual will ensure that the right team members with the necessary skills are assigned to each project, contributing significantly to the success of both the project and the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective management and allocation of internal and external resources between client projects and internal tasks
  • Accurate forecasting and resourcing based on inputs from Sales, Support, and Delivery teams
  • Engagement management for contractors and collaboration with sister or partner organizations
  • Monitoring resourcing aspects of projects to identify gaps or clashes and facilitate corrective action
  • Real-time reporting on roster coverage, demand, and gap analysis, highlighting instances of under-utilization and conflicts
  • Resolution of booking conflicts and negotiation of acceptable outcomes with all parties involved
  • Alerting relevant managers to potential concerns or issues impacting project requirements
  • Maintenance of an up-to-date skills matrix for consultants

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Resourcing Manager
  • Familiarity with IT consultancy or Professional Services is essential
  • Knowledge of ERP, SAP, or Analytics is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills to present effective solution options for complex resourcing scenarios
