Panel Administrator Role
The position of Panel Administrator is a vital part of our Development Assessment section, and we are seeking an experienced candidate to fill this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organising meetings and preparing agendas
- Preparing meeting timetables
- Attending panel meetings and briefing sessions
- Minute taking
- Recording panel meetings
- Contacting submitters
- Arranging guest speakers
As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the Blacktown Local Planning Panel and assisting the State Panel Secretariat with Council aspects of the Sydney Central City Planning Panel under the direction of the Director City Planning and Development and Manager Development Assessment.
Requirements and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or relevant field
- Suitable experience in a similar role
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including using mail merge and templates
- Advanced Adobe skills
- Current class 'C' driver's licence
The following skills would be highly desirable:
- Relevant officer experience and good keyboard skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to deal efficiently with multiple tasks
- Data entry experience, high volume
- Customer service experience both face to face and over the phone
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines
This role offers a competitive salary and conditions of employment in accordance with our Enterprise Agreement. Key benefits include:
- Entry level salary: $1,361.20 per week
- 35-hour working week
