About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Land Development Engineer to join our team in Darwin. This is a full-time position that requires expertise in civil infrastructure design, including subdivisions, industrial, and commercial projects with a focus on land development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Civil infrastructure design, including subdivisions, industrial, and commercial projects with a focus on land development.
  • Leading projects from technical design and documentation through to completion on site, determining construction methods, materials, and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods, and procedures.
  • Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, measuring, valuing, and negotiating variations to designs.
  • Delivering professional services ensuring projects are delivered to program, budget, and the highest quality standard.
  • Practicing safety in project design and delivery, supported by quality checking and verification activities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaising with and coordinating various stakeholders, including clients, local councils, and authorities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A proven track record of applying your experience to diverse civil engineering projects, with a focus on land development, property, civil infrastructure, and transport sectors.
  • The ability to work accurately and efficiently within a busy client-focused team.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Civil Engineer.
  • Local Darwin and Northern Territory project experience will be highly regarded.
  • Prior experience with Power and Water corporation and accreditation will also be highly regarded.
  • A Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree.
  • Chartered status (CPEng) or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
