Senior Piping Engineer Opportunity in Darwin

We are seeking an experienced Senior Piping Engineer to join our team in Darwin, Northern Territory. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing piping systems for brownfields oil and gas projects.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Piping Engineer to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our operations in the APAC West region. You will work closely with our Piping Design Manager and other engineers to ensure that all piping designs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will have a minimum of 15 years' experience in piping design, with at least 5 years in a Principal Design role managing project scopes and resources. You will also have a strong understanding of discipline technology and other discipline requirements, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement piping systems for brownfields oil and gas projects
  • Work closely with the Piping Design Manager and other engineers to ensure high-quality designs
  • Manage project scopes and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track project progress and performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Drafting
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in piping design, with at least 5 years in a Principal Design role
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
