Job Summary

The primary objective of this role is to provide strategic direction and technical oversight to the Underwritten business. This involves identifying areas for improvement in claims and customer experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional results while ensuring compliance and other critical functions are executed at a high standard.

This includes overseeing policy and procedure documents, managing claims performance assessments, and collaborating with teams to drive change and improve processes.

  • Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing actionable insights and recommendations to the National Claims Manager on claims trends, performance, and strategic improvements.
  2. Identifying opportunities for improvement in claims management and implementing strategies to address them.
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive change and improve processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong project management skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, and expertise in claims management models and Workers Compensation legislation. Additionally, you should be able to analyze complex data, identify trends, and provide insightful solutions for informed decision-making.

Other essential qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in managing projects and operations, with a focus on improving systems and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and planning skills, with the ability to manage tasks and resources efficiently.
