Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Night Auditor to join our team at QT Newcastle.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's financial systems, including the processing of night audits and reconciliation of accounts.

As a Senior Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of night audits, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial records, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including front office staff, accountants, and management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and improve overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
