We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Night Auditor to join our team at QT Newcastle.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's financial systems, including the processing of night audits and reconciliation of accounts.
As a Senior Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure accurate and timely completion of night audits, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial records, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including front office staff, accountants, and management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per annum.
