This leadership position oversees contract management, supporting a dynamic operational environment with safety, efficiency, and compliance at the forefront.

About the Role
  • Provide strategic oversight across plant maintenance operations, collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Manage contractual obligations, maintain operational continuity, and lead stakeholder engagement in a unionised labour environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of contract performance and delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, superintendents, and union stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to commercial and safety requirements, driving continuous improvement.
  • Monitor contractor performance and service levels, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met.
  • Deliver clear and professional reports to stakeholders and internal management.
  • Manage budgets, variations, and procurement aligned with contract requirements.
  • Coach and delegate to on-site operational leaders, ensuring daily activities are safely executed.
Ideal Candidate
  • Background in contract management within mining, energy, heavy manufacturing, or maintenance environments.
  • Experience managing contractors and unionised labour forces.
  • Operationally hands-on while maintaining a commercial focus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong report writing ability and attention to contractual detail.
