Main Responsibilities:
  1. Facilitate engaging and inclusive learning experiences tailored to adult learners with diverse educational backgrounds and needs.
  2. Apply flexible teaching strategies that accommodate varying literacy levels, learning styles, and behavioral challenges.
  3. Conduct competency-based assessments aligned with national standards, ensuring learners achieve meaningful outcomes.
  4. Collaborate closely with correctional staff and other educators to maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
  5. Promote a culture of growth, resilience, and self-worth among students, helping them develop confidence and life skills that extend beyond the classroom.

  • TAE40110 or TAE40116 (incl. TAEASS501 & TAELLN411) or higher VET teaching qualification.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or demonstrated competency in the subject area.
