Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Adult Review Team in Knowsley. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and review skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduled and Targeted Care Act Reviews: Participate in generic adult social work reviews, conducting assessments using a strengths-based approach to identify ongoing needs and outcomes.
  • Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interests Decisions: Carry out mental capacity assessments and best interests decisions, focusing on person-centred practice and compliance with Care Act principles.
Requirements
  • Registration and Eligibility: Hold current registration with Social Work England and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Driving Licence and Post-Qualification Experience: Possess a full UK driving licence and hold post-qualified experience in social work.
  • Education and Qualifications: Hold a degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
