Teach Welding Skills to Adult Learners

This is a rewarding opportunity to teach welding skills to adult learners in a correctional setting. The role involves delivering hands-on, accredited training in MIG, TIG, and arc welding, as well as fabrication and workshop safety.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver practical and theoretical instruction in line with industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Support learners to develop technical skills in welding, fabrication, and workshop safety.
  • Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports diverse learner needs and backgrounds.
  • Deliver practical training in the workshop and via augmented reality welders.

Learners will work towards building confidence, skills, and pathways to employment in the trades sector.

">Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or willingness to enrol.
  • Relevant Welding qualifications and industry experience.
  • Experience delivering training in adult education or vocational settings (preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a correctional environment.
