The Intensive Learning Centre Officer is a key member of the Corrective Services NSW team, responsible for delivering educational programs to adult learners in a correctional centre setting. This role requires an experienced teacher who can engage with adult learners and develop tailored training programs that meet the needs of this diverse group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, including experience working with adult learners and a proven ability to deliver effective training programs. They must possess a sound understanding of adult learning principles and be able to adapt their teaching style to meet the diverse needs of students.

">Key Responsibilities- Plan, Develop, and Deliver Courses: The Intensive Learning Centre Officer will plan, develop, and deliver courses that meet the requirements of accredited training packages and contribute to reducing re-offending rates and improving community safety. This includes collaborating with external education service providers to deliver vocational training programs in the ILC.

- Strong Qualifications: A Bachelor degree in Education or a related field, incorporating subjects that qualify you to teach in the learning area, is essential. Additionally, a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor, plus relevant units in adult education, is required.
- Current Driver Licence: A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to drive a vehicle as part of the role are also necessary.
