Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Skid Steer Instructor to join our team of educators at Beechworth Prison. As a Skid Steer Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to adult learners in a correctional setting.

Your role will involve:

  • Delivering accredited skid steer training aligned with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Supporting learners to build confidence and competence in operating skid steers safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress, assessments, and compliance documentation.
  • Creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learner needs.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 / TAE40116 / TAE40122) or willing to enrol.
  • Possess relevant and current skid steer operation experience.
  • Experience delivering training in adult education or vocational settings is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a correctional environment.
  • Commitment to safety, inclusion, and learner success.
