About the Role

  • Develop and implement clear objectives, performance measures, and targets to guide the work of the payroll and reporting teams to agreed service levels.
  • Provide strong leadership and clear direction to develop team members' knowledge, competence, and capability through regular coaching and feedback.
  • Facilitate feedback and collaboration across the HR team and key stakeholders to ensure remuneration and payroll services are aligned and effective in meeting business needs.
  • Ensure compliance across all elements of taxation, superannuation, Award compliance, and contractual obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to develop, implement, and ensure the consistent application of management controls when dealing with complex data sets.
  • Ensure reporting requirements are delivered to the required standard and delivery timeframes.
  • Lead remuneration and reporting system optimisation by drawing on data analysis and statistics to streamline, simplify, and improve functionality for the HR team, leaders, and team members.
  • Identify and lead short, medium, and long-term improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the remuneration and reporting function.

About You

  • Qualifications in Business, Human Resources, or project management would be beneficial.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and flexible approach.
  • Experience and capability in HR processes and procedure development.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying provisions of industrial agreements and Awards.
  • Experience in designing and developing visual analytical data.
