About the role

Ensure that clear objectives, performance measures and targets are in place to guide the work of the payroll and reporting teams to agreed service levels. Provide strong leadership and clear direction developing team members’ knowledge, competence and capability through regular coaching and feedback. Facilitate feedback and collaboration across the HR team and key stakeholders to ensure remuneration and payroll services are aligned and effective in meeting business needs. Ensure compliance across all elements of taxation, superannuation, Award compliance and contractual obligations. Identify opportunities when dealing with complex data sets with the view to develop, implement, and ensure the consistent application of management controls. Ensure reporting requirements are delivered to the required standard and delivery timeframes. Draw on data analysis and statistics to lead remuneration and reporting system optimisation and streamline, simplify and improve functionality for the HR team, leaders, and team members. Identify and lead short, medium and long-term improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and effectiveness of remuneration and reporting function.

About you

Qualifications in Business, Human Resources, or project management would be beneficial Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a high volume and fast-paced environment. Proactive, solutions focussed and flexible approach Experience and capability in HR processes and procedure development Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying provisions of industrial agreements and Awards Experience in designing and developing visual analytical data
