**The Role**

We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to join our National Operations Team.

In this role you will be required to deliver on the National Operations Strategy & KPIs, for our Brunswick site in Melbourne, Victoria.

As the Inventory Coordinator, you will be a hands-on operator and will perform warehouse inventory functions such as receival, replenishment, rotation, stock and cycle counts.

People leadership, management of key operational expense lines, inventory management analysis and the overall planning and execution of the efficient movement of goods through our Brunswick site to the end user, will also be integral components of the job role.

You will also be responsible for fostering a strong team culture around engagement, safety, communication, collaboration and continual improvement.

You will report directly to the National Operations Manager.

**Responsibilities**

As the Inventory Operations Coordinator, the main duties of your role will include:

- Warehouse based inventory related functions.
- Facilitating the efficient and accurate inventory control.
- People leadership - build a high performing team
- Human resources responsibilities (eg. recruitment & performance reviews).
- Managing key operational expense lines of the branch.
- Workplace health & safety responsibilities and compliance.
- Driving efficiencies, reducing waste.
- Collaborating across departments and other branches to achieve co objectives.
- Branch security responsibilities.
- Performing other operational tasks as directed.

**Ideally you will have the following skills and experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar type of role.
- A current forklift licence - required
- Experience in warehousing & logistics - required.
- Experience in a cold storage environment an advantage
- Experience managing teams and building positive relationships - required.
- Experience in inventory management analysis - required.
- Commercial business acumen and cost benefit analysis experience - required.
- Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel & Word - required
- Ability to lift up to 20kg weight is essential
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Achieving targets and working within budget parameters.
- Problem solving, reporting & analytical skills.
- Good prioritising, time management and organisational skills.
- Strong initiative and be proactive.
- Ability to absorb pressure and be professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to influence change and drive continual improvement.
- Ability to work autonomously.
