Strategic Clinical Business Development Role

This leadership position drives clinical business growth, leveraging technology solutions to enhance patient outcomes.

  • Representing the organization in strategic clinical settings with government agencies, industry partners, and clinical advocacy groups to influence and collaborate on breakthrough technologies across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences and aligning with the organization's value proposition. Building relationships with customers through regular sales calls and a strategic partnership approach.
  • Staying informed about competitor activity, new products/services, and other relevant industry information to inform business decisions.
  • Serving as the voice of the region, representing local clients' needs globally.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing organizational design, recruitment, training, coaching, and performance objectives aligned with overall strategy.
  • Mentoring the team, creating career plans and succession strategies.
  • Empowering and inspiring the team to achieve financial goals quarterly and annually, reporting regularly on forecast and sales performance with variance analysis.
  • Implementing corrective actions to address gaps between expectations and performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science with strong life science genomics knowledge preferred.
  • 6+ years of industry-specific Business Development/Sales experience, preferably in life sciences.
  • Understanding of the local ANZ clinical market and key customers an advantage, along with technical knowledge of NGS, Oncology, and Reproductive Health products.

This role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to think and implement from a customer-centric perspective, build strong customer relationships, and strategically enhance business opportunities and market potential.
