Media Strategy Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Media Strategy Professional to join our team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing media strategies that drive business results.

In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of fully aligned media plans and executions. You will also collaborate with external media partners to identify and secure opportunities that align with our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of offline and online media channels, including retail media and TV. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement media strategies that drive business results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives
  • Work with external media partners to identify and secure opportunities that align with our business objectives
  • Manage the quality of media plans and buys to ensure they reflect the insights and ideas shaped from them

Requirements:

Education:

A degree in Marketing, Communications or Business is desirable.

Experience:

Proven experience, ideally minimum 3+ years, working with media across online and offline channels, including familiarity with retail media and TV.

Experience translating strategic business objectives into tactical media executions.

Well-versed in offline media and digital planning and execution.

Australian media market experience.

Media strategy experience highly regarded.

Skills:

Ability to influence effectively across multiple collaborators by creating clarity in strategy and execution plans.

Decisive, structured, dedicated and organized, with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent at working and delivering against deadlines, thinking proactively and working reactively with the ability to meet goals under pressure.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
