Quarry Management Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to join our team.

This leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of operations at the quarry, focusing on maximising performance while achieving safety, environmental and financial targets. You will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver an efficient and effective production process in a safe environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring company safety standards and procedures are met
  • Supervising staff and contractors
  • Production planning and on-site improvements
  • Quarry management for internal and external audits
  • Inducting and training personnel and contractors
  • Complying with Holcim's SHE requirements

You will have a strong safety focus and experience in quarry operations. A deep understanding of drill & blast and quarry development is essential, as is practical mobile crushing and screening exposure. Budgeting and cost analysis skills are also required.

About you:

  • Hold a Quarry Managers Certificate or sufficient experience
  • Strong safety leader with knowledge of Safety Management Systems and relevant legislation
  • Experience in quarry operations
  • A thorough understanding of drill & blast and quarry development
  • Practical mobile crushing and screening experience
  • Budgeting and cost analysis skills
