National Asset Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced National Asset Manager to join our team. This role will involve the strategic management of assets across the Architectural Coatings ANZ business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to negotiate contracts for services and equipment, ensuring cost efficiencies.
  • Manage contract negotiations between PPG and suppliers.
  • Oversee the placement, removal, transfer, changeover, maintenance, and repairs of all store and customer site-based PPG assets (tint equipment, colour walls, and semi-permanent POS).
  • Manage spare parts inventory.
  • Record asset movements with the finance team.
  • Conduct regular asset audits to ensure all assets are up-to-date and accounted for.
  • Manage storage of non-allocated assets.
  • Ensure all assets are serviceable and suitable for purpose.
  • Manage asset upgrades and changeovers.
  • Coordinate training on equipment use and maintenance.
  • Develop equipment performance reviews and reports.

The successful candidate will have experience in asset management or retail store operations, intermediate skills in MS Office, and experience with SAP or an equivalent platform. They will be able to develop plans, secure cost savings, and implement vendor and asset management strategies.
