BeathChapman Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Operational Risk Advisory to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Operational Risk and/or Compliance in Banking & Financial Services, with a strong ability to verbalise and articulate operational risk issues to influence senior stakeholders. The role will involve providing SME risk advice to all business units across the Consumer / Retail Bank and the distribution network, conducting deep dive and thematic reviews of issues, and contributing to 2nd Line Operational Risk in Projects, initiatives, strategies, and cost-effective embedding to BAU. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to the business, providing insights on key risks, controls, metrics, and trends, and will have a strong understanding of the prudential and regulatory environment where a Retail Bank is operating in (APRA, NCCP Responsible Lending, Privacy Act, AUSTRAC etc.). The role requires the ability to manage workload and drive the process especially in a matrix working / reporting environment. Consumer banking product knowledge (Mortgages, Cards, Secured and Unsecured Lendings, Deposits etc.) is desirable but not essential.
