Frontline Rostering Expert

The role of Frontline Rostering Expert requires effective management of front-line employee shifts, ensuring operational stability for residents, their families, and visiting health professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Optimize employee work availability, handle sick leave and leave requests, coordinate backfilling and casual workforce, and manage labour hire workforce efficiently.
  • Partner with corporate rostering teams to ensure data accuracy and system forecasting capabilities.
  • Lead staff interactions regarding allocations, roster changes, additional shifts, and communication of shifts available to ensure all shifts are filled with backups.
  • Oversee training and access to timekeeping systems, including onboarding new employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality of rostering information according to company policies and conduct standards.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective communication and high-quality resident care.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, engagement, experience, and systems.

To succeed in this position, candidates should possess:

  • Extensive experience in staff rostering, particularly with contractors and labour hire.
  • Ability to work closely with operational teams and serve as a single point of contact for staffing information.
  • Capability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with attention to detail in verbal and written communication.
  • Valid NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience with Roster "Bid Manager" tools is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work with broader rostering teams and senior administrators to improve staffing outcomes.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
