Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Roster Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the allocation and rostering of trainees across multiple specialist training pathways at RCH and external secondment site partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clinical units in reviewing and developing rosters ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with formatting and publishing requirements.
  • Translate roster patterns to roster builds within the RosterOn platform.
  • Provide education and training to administration staff on using the RosterOn platform for roster allocations, maintenance/amendments, leave management and payroll approvals.
  • Support the Team Leader, Allocations and Rostering on roster allocations, builds and RosterOn system management specific to JMS.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a related field, industry experience, proficiency in various IT platforms and systems, sound communication skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience in working as a workforce or rostering coordinator within a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various information technology platforms and systems, including RosterOn and Microsoft Office
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a broader administrative team
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
