We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Production Engineer to lead the development and delivery of safe, efficient production plans in gold mining.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of junior Mining Engineers to develop and deliver safe, efficient production plans covering drilling, charging and remote bogging activities
  • Plan, supervise and implement weekly drill and blast activities with a focus on operational excellence
  • Schedule, own, plan and manage the 3MS process using Deswik IS
  • Ensure adherence to and continuous improvement of drill and blast standards to optimize recovery and minimize dilutions
  • Promote a high-performance culture by actively coaching, engaging with and providing feedback to Production and Graduate Engineers

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and skills in mining software (Deswik IS, Deswik CAD, Deswik UDGM, VEntsim) and Microsoft tools, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. They must be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide feedback to support the development of others.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering
  • Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class C Driver's License
  • National Police Clearance – 12 month validity
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills
