About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Analyst to join our team at Qantas Group. As a key member of our Workforce Planning team, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing crew pairings and rostering to achieve optimal operational consistency and reduce expenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and insights
  • Analyze and present data to inform business decisions
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in workforce planning with a strong understanding of workforce planning fundamentals
  • Advanced analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret numerical data to inform business decisions
  • Proven ability to identify issues, develop strategic options, and facilitate or make decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated capability and commitment to improve roster efficiency and utilization within a complex organization
  • Advanced user of MS Office, including Excel and other cloud services
