We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Analyst to join our team at Qantas. As a key member of our Workforce Planning Team, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing crew pairings and rostering to achieve optimal operational consistency and reduce expenses.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet business objectives
- Conduct thorough evaluations of various planning scenarios to identify the most economical and operationally advantageous rostering strategies
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to present data sets and improvements to the business
- Extract key insights from data to inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- 2+ years of experience in workforce planning with a strong understanding of workforce planning fundamentals
- Highly developed analytic, strategic, lateral thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced numeracy skills – ability to analyze, interpret, and present numerical data for business insight
- Proven ability to identify issues, develop strategic options, facilitate or make decisions, and plan action
- Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated capability and commitment to improve roster efficiency and utilization within a complex organization
- Advanced user of MS Office including Excel and other cloud services
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Planning, Finance, Logistics, or Aviation is desirable but not essential
