About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Analyst to join our team at Qantas. As a key member of our Workforce Planning team, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing crew pairings and rostering to achieve optimal operational consistency and reduce expenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather data and insights
  • Analyze and present data sets to inform business decisions
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of various planning scenarios to identify optimal solutions
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders to drive business outcomes
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in workforce planning with a strong understanding of workforce planning fundamentals
  • Highly developed analytic, strategic, lateral thinking and problem solving skills
  • Advanced numeracy skills – ability to analyze, interpret and present numerical data for business insight
  • Proven ability to identify issues, develop strategic options, facilitate or make decisions and plan action
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated capability and commitment to improve roster efficiency and utilization within a complex organization
  • Advanced user of MS Office including Excel and other cloud services
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Planning, Finance, Logistics, or Aviation is desirable but not essential
