We're looking for an experienced Safety Manager to join our team and help us achieve our goals. As a key member of our Project Leadership Team, you'll play a vital role in developing and implementing safety strategies that align with our company vision.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Guiding and supporting the Project Leadership Team to develop a safety culture that reflects our company values.
- Ensuring our projects maintain robust risk management processes and comply with our Safety Management System.
- Investigating incidents and recommending actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Providing specialist support to internal stakeholders, including operational leaders, project employees, contractors, clients, and visitors.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Demonstrated experience as a Safety Manager working across the entire project lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
- Safety Lead Auditor Qualification.
- Construction safety management experience (5+ years).
- Audit management practices (2-3+ years).
- Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects.
- Knowledge of relevant Safety legislation and statutes.
