Job Title: Project Engineer

Based in Fortitude Valley and reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the Project Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring construction-related aspects of the project meet or exceed performance targets in relation to time, cost, and quality.
  • Maintaining our contractual schedule/program, including productivity units and extension of time.
  • Engagement and management of subcontractors from tender to scope delivery in a way that embodies our vision to be 'the best people to work with'.
  • Monitoring and reporting on task productivity, financial outcomes, and performing cost control to ensure project targets are optimized.
  • Providing daily support, team supervision, and feedback to field operations to produce high-quality project outcomes against company-set performance criteria.
  • Ensuring project HSEQ objectives are set, shared, and adhered to in order to maintain an exemplary safety culture aligned to the values of 'Safety is My Way'.
Requirements

We are looking for a driven and confident individual with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and similar project experience.
  • High standards in managing safety, quality, and environment.
  • Experience with civil and/or structural engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of and experience in temporary works scope would be highly desirable.
