Geology Professional

We are seeking an experienced geology professional to join our team on a full-time basis. As a hybrid role, you will gain exposure and experience within a consultancy, with career development and ongoing training provided.

Mining engineering consultancy provides integrated geological and engineering services to clients throughout Australia. Our team operates across various projects, offering opportunities for skill development and growth.

  • Monitoring reconciliations between predicted and actual grade and tonnes.
  • Providing accurate ore delineation and grade estimations.
  • Short to medium-term planning.
  • Maintaining quality control standards for geological data collection.
  • Ensuring the accurate tracking of ore from mine to ROM.
  • Supervising mining operators and contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Geological Science/Earth Science or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated open-cut mine geology experience (1-2 years).
  • Current driver's license.
  • Experience with geological data collection with accuracy and ability to interpret findings.
  • Proficiency in Vulcan and Excel preferred.
