Geotechnical Expert

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Expert to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality geotechnical services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical investigations and characterise terrain
  • Evaluate engineering geological and geomorphological conditions
  • Assess landslide/slope risk and perform slope stability analysis
  • Design ground improvement and remediation solutions
  • Develop tailings dam designs, management, and operation strategies
  • Interpret instrumentation and monitoring data
  • Maintain construction quality assurance and control
  • Manage projects and ensure timely delivery

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years' hands-on experience with tertiary qualifications in Geology, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience delivering reports on time and within budget
  • Excellent attitude and ability to work within a dynamic environment
  • Well-developed creative, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Motivation for continuous improvement and professional development
  • Post-graduate qualifications advantageous
  • Experience with Tailings Storage Facilities advantageous
