Geological Investigation Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Geological Investigation Specialist to join our team in Australia.

This role will focus on key projects across the country, including geological assessments, site investigations and laboratory testing for various infrastructure projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough geological investigations to inform project design and construction.
  • Develop comprehensive ground models to support project delivery.
  • Provide expert advice on geological conditions, risks and potential solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Work on large-scale civil infrastructure projects requiring advanced geological expertise.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in geological site investigation, interpretation and laboratory testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret and model geological data effectively.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical investigation software such as OpenGround, Leapfrog and GIS.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
