Strategic International Research Partnership Coordinator RoleWe are seeking an experienced and accomplished professional to join our team as a Strategic International Research Partnership Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in the development and management of strategic international research training partnerships by coordinating legal agreements, supporting programs, and overseeing the overall recruitment process. Key accountabilities include:

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to develop institutional Graduate Research agreements and MoUs, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and approvals are secured.

  • Coordinating cotutelle and joint PhD proposals, verifying that information provided by prospective supervisors is complete, departmental/faculty endorsements have been received, and relevant scholarship funding is allocated.

  • Providing high-level advice on the development of cotutelle and joint PhD proposals and agreements to staff, partner universities' stakeholders, and current/prospective candidates.

  • Monitoring institutional agreements, identifying those approaching expiry, and supporting renewal processes in consultation with the Strategic Programs Manager.

  • Supplying regular updates to the Admissions/Lifecycle Coordinator, Scholarship Program Manager, and other relevant staff on the status of cotutelle and joint PhD agreements, advising on any changes to expected commencement dates.

  • Processing variations to cotutelle and joint PhD agreements, ensuring accurate recording of expected on-campus/off-campus dates in university systems and communication of changes with partner institutions.
