About the Role

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to partner with Yooralla's leadership and staff in promoting and delivering a proactive safety culture. As a key business partner, you will provide high-quality workplace health, safety, and wellbeing advice, guidance, and support.

Your ability to build relationships, provide expert advice on health and safety matters, and technical expertise on risk management processes will be highly valued in this critical role.

About You:
  • Experience working in a business partnership capacity alongside leaders in delivering health, safety, and wellbeing solutions;
  • A proven track record of developing WHS systems and processes;
  • In-depth knowledge of the OH&S Act 2004 and Regulations;
  • Familiarity with contemporary practices in managing key risks in the disability sector, including Manual Handling and Psycho-social risk;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, facilitation, influencing, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

  • Working to ensure high-quality and safe supports and services for NDIS participants, meeting and exceeding the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators;
  • Meeting obligations under all relevant Victorian and Commonwealth legislation;
  • Working in accordance with the Yooralla Code of Conduct and Employee Manual;
  • Supporting a risk-aware culture by proactively identifying and reporting risks.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check;
  • Current driver's license to drive in Australia;
  • International Police Check (if applicable).
