Responsibilities include:

- Assisting the Farm Manager in day-to-day operations and providing backup when necessary
- Ensuring all livestock is treated humanely and in compliance with minimum standard procedures
- Coaching and developing team members to ensure they meet performance goals
- Involving the team in safety initiatives and promoting risk awareness
- Recording and monitoring weekly husbandry parameters
- Managing and maintaining the labor cost base to ensure it is productive, efficient, and cost-competitive

Requirements:

- A good understanding of modern farming methods and a commitment to animal welfare
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions and undertake practical tasks as needed
- Experience leading projects with minimal assistance within a budget framework
- IT skills and ability to analyze operational reports and monitor compliance with policies and procedures
- Experience in safe farm maintenance
