About the Role

We're seeking a Poultry Processing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support our Weigh Label Room in processing, inspecting, packing, weighing, and labelling raw packaged chicken meat.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tending labelling lines and label applicators, performing processing tasks efficiently, and working to meet individual and group targets.
  • Manual handling duties - lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, and reaching.
  • Storing and maintaining materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Identifying and escalating food safety and quality issues, hazards, and risks.
Requirements
  • Understanding and following instructions and procedures.
  • Working well within a team environment.
  • Communicating effectively both written and verbally.
  • Show commitment, reliability, and motivation.
  • Responding calmly when faced with obstacles.
  • Physical fitness and ability to repetitively lift 5kg- 15kg.
  • Understanding quality standards.
  • Able to lift 10-12kgs at some stage when required.
  • Basic computer skills for communication.
  • Flexibility to cover various shifts when required.
